The Leitersburg Ruritan Center is now open and hosting activites
The Leitersburg Rutitan Club's mission is to promote Fellowship, Goodwill, & Community Service. We have been working to improve our community since we were chartered in 1955. The club has monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month and has a variety of activities during the year. The Peach Festival tradition continues the 2nd weekend in August with over 110 local vendors, great festival food including Peach pies and peach ice cream, live music, children's activities, pony rides, barrel train and more. As always, free admission and free parking. Come out and enjoy the day.
The Leitersburg Ruritan is home to the annual Peach Festival. This year will be our 45th peach festival. The Festival is always the 2nd weekend in August, this year Saturday Aug 10th 9 til 5 Sunday Aug 11th from 9 until 4
The Leitersburg Ruritan community center opened 1/1/2020. Featuring a full-size gymnasium, meeting rooms, and kitchen this building is going to be an enormous benefit for the community.
The Leitersburg Ruritan Community Park is open from April 1st until November 30. The park features a pavilion, basketball & volleyball courts for the public to use and enjoy. The pavilion can be reserved for group or family activities.
Anyone interested in playing pickleball is welcome to come out on Monday Wednesday and Fridays. From 8:30 to 10:30 courts are for experienced players with a rating of 3.0 or better. From 10:30 to 12:30 one or two courts are designated for new or beginner players. Come out to play in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The Center has 3 courts and players play doubles rotating between courts and partners. Cost is $5 to play.
