Peach Festival Vendor Page

The Leitersburg Ruritan would like to thank you for your interest in our 2024 Peach Festival.  The festival is a family friendly event.  We feature 120 local craft vendors and a variety of fun activities for families to participate in.  The festival has free admission, free parking and free live music and demonstrations.

The money that the Ruritan is able to raise from this festival go directly back into the Leitersburg and surrounding communities.  The Ruritan maintain the park, pavilion, playground, volleyball and basketball courts for the community to use and enjoy.  We pay for the street lighting in Leitersburg.  We sponsor a Boy Scout Troop, Girl Scout Troop, several sports teams in Smithsburg Youth Athletics and the Leopard Ruri-teen Club.  We offer help to people in need in our community with can food drives for Tabitha's Table, Bell ringing with the Salvation Army and direct help to community members in need.  Your participation in the Peach Festival helps to make all this and more possible and we thank you. 

Sorry we are not taking applications for new food or drink vendors this year.  Food Vendors are any food that can be consumed at the festival.

FRIDAY EVENING SETUP OPTION:
You may set your area up starting Friday after 7 AM. 
You may bring your vehicle directly to your spot to unload before the festival and to load at the conclusion of the festival at 5pm Sunday.

The entrance to the park is the driveway along the Leitersburg Fire Dept.  Proceed to the top of the hill and check in at the pavilion for site verification.
We will have someone in the park all night Friday night, but we cannot be responsible for anything you leave.  

When you leave please lower your sun canopy to the lowest setting and make sure it is well secured to the ground in case of high winds Friday night.  Thunderstorms in August are a strong possibility.  Strong canopies that are well secured are highly recommended.  Storms have destroyed canopies and displays in the past, and the Leitersburg Ruritan does not assume any responsibility for your canopies and displays.  

You may leave a vehicle or trailer in the Vendor parking area.

SATURDAY MORNING SETUP OPTION:
You may set up on Saturday Morning after 6:00 AM.
You may bring your vehicle directly to your spot. 

The entrance to the park is the driveway along the Leitersburg Fire Dept.  Proceed to the top of the hill and check in at the pavilion for site verification.

Vehicles must be removed from the vendor area by 7:30 AM.  

There is free parking for the vendors and trailers behind the red schoolhouse and in the back parking lot.

Vehicles will be allowed back in the vendor area after 5pm on Saturday for anything you need to remove for the night.

We will have someone in the park all night Saturday night, but we cannot be responsible for anything you leave.  When you leave, please lower your sun canopy to the lowest setting and make sure it is secured to the ground in case of high winds Saturday night.

You may leave a vehicle or trailer in the Vendor parking area behind the school Saturday night.

SUNDAY MORNING SETUP:
You may set up on Sunday Morning after 6 AM.
You may bring your vehicle directly to your spot on Sunday Morning. 
All vehicles must be out of the park by 7:30 Sunday morning.  

Vehicles will be allowed back in the vendor area after 4pm on Sunday for tear down and packing up.

We have advertised the Peach Festival on all the local radio stations and newspapers.  We will be having a live radio feed on Saturday morning.  We have also advertised heavily on the internet on the festival pages, our website, the entertainer's websites.  We have paid for advertisement on Facebook and would appreciate it if you would like our page and help spread the word about the festival.  We have also advertised thru the state and county tourism websites and published material. 

I have attached a copy of our flier to this e-mail in hopes that you would display it at your business as well.  I have also attached an application for our 5K race in hopes that you would share it with any runners or walkers that you may know.

If we can do anything for you or if there are any problems, we can help with please let us know. Please be patient with our volunteers.  We are not a professional staff.  We do our best to make the Peach Festival a fun and safe event for everyone.
