COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL INFORMATION

The Leitersburg Ruritan Community Center (LRCC) is open to the public to reserve and use.  Applications are reviewed by the LRCC to determine if the facility can accommodate the request and if it's an appropriate use of the facility.  Priority is given to non-profit organizations and youth groups.

                                                                                    Monday Thru Friday     Saturday & Sunday

Gymnasium (2-hour minimum rental)                         $40 an hour                   $60 an hour

       The gym can accommodate up to 150 people.                                          

       If the Gymnasium floor covering is needed for non-sporting 

       events an additional one-time fee of $150 will be added

Meeting Room (4-hour minimum rental)                     $30 an hour                   $40 an hour

       The meeting room can accommodate

       up to 60 people         

Meeting Room & Kitchen                                               $40 an hour                   $50 an hour

Entire building

        Gymnasium, Meeting room & Kitchen                   $80 an hour                   $110 an hour

A $150 refundable security deposit is required.  The deposit is returned to you when (a) your rental event is complete and the facility is inspected and determined to be free of damage, clean and restored to pre-rental condition (b) all other balances have been settled.

Delaplaine Foundation  – The Delaplaine Foundation is a private family philanthropic organization that was established to help enrich the lives of community members and perpetuate the outstanding quality of life enjoyed in Frederick and the surrounding area.

The Nora Roberts Foundation  – The primary focus of The Nora Roberts Foundation is to support literacy. Additional areas of focus are: children’s programs, arts organizations, and humanitarian efforts, with local organizations being its priority.

New Direction Utilities Inc The Scott Family and New Direction have been huge supporters of the Ruritan and its efforts to construct the new community center, donating equipment and man power to help remove the old building and prepare the site for the new center
